Control a Matter device

Once your Matter-enabled device has been successfully paired and appears in the Google Home app (GHA), test control of the device by different methods:

Google Assistant

Use Google Assistant to toggle the device state from voice commands.

Google Home app

Toggle the device state from the GHA.

Smart display

Toggle the device state from the device panel of a display, such as the Google Nest Hub (2nd gen).
