To support our growing smart home ecosystem and provide a more streamlined process, Google will use the Connectivity Standards Alliance Interop Test Lab (CSA ITL) for all Google Matter integration for manufacturers that want the Works with Google Home (WWGH) badge.
From now until the end of 2025, we will slowly introduce and encourage you to test your device through Connectivity Standards Alliance (Alliance) Interop Test Lab and submit the test results when certifying your Matter device with Google. At the beginning of 2026, we will only accept the Alliance ITL test results for Google Matter integration.
This document provides key dates and details for a seamless integration testing and certification.
