Console statuses

Each stage of the Google Home Developer Console project workflow has several distinct statuses, summarized here.

Test

Section Status Description Requirement What to do next
Ready to test Ready This version of the integration is ready to test. N/A Test this version of the integration.
Tested Ready This version of the integration was tested and can be submitted for Field Trial or certification.

Version was tested and saved.

All failed test cases include justifications for Google to review.

 Retest, if desired.

Field trial

Section Status Description Requirement What to do next
Ready for Field Trial review Ready This version of the integration can be submitted for Field Trial review. Withdrawn integrations are also labeled 'Ready'. The integration must be versioned. Submit this version of the integration for Field Trial review.
Submitted for review In review This version of the integration is in review. FT successfully submitted.

Wait for the version to be approved so the Field Trial can start.

or

Withdraw, if desired.
Submitted for review Rejected This version of the integration didn't meet policy review criteria, so a Field Trial can't be started. Field Trial criteria weren't met.

Fix issues in the existing integration, or create a new version of the integration that meets the Field Trial criteria, then contact your account manager and submit for Field Trial review.

or

If you don't agree with the issues, you can dispute the outcome with your account manager.
Started Started This version of the integration was approved and testers can start testing. Field Trial was approved.

Send info to invited testers.

or

Stop the Field Trial.
Ended Complete Field Trial for this version was stopped and testers can no longer participate. Field Trial ran. Restart Field Trial, if desired.

Certify

Integrations for certification Ready This version of the integration is ready to be submitted for certification review.

Connectivity Standards Alliance (Alliance)-issued vendor ID is used (not Test VID).

Company profile has been submitted.

 Submit this version of the integration for certification review.
Integrations for certification Not ready This version of the integration didn't meet criteria.

Alliance-issued vendor ID is not used.

Company profile has not been submitted.
  1. View issues that are listed in the console.
  2. Fix issues or create a new version using a Alliance-issued vendor ID and an approved Company Profile.
  3. Submit again for certification.
Submitted for certification In review This version of the integration is in certification review. Successful submission.

Wait for approval.

or

Withdraw the submission if desired.
Submitted for certification Approved The certification submission for this version of the integration was approved and can be launched.
  • Certification disclaimer was agreed to.
  • Company profile is approved and live.
  • Product ID (PID) ownership was verified.
 Launch or schedule a launch for this version of the integration.
Submitted for certification Rejected This version of the integration didn't meet certification criteria and can't be resubmitted. Approval criteria weren't met.

View issues that are listed in the console.

Create a new version that meets the approval criteria and submit that version for certification.

or

Provide justification for failed certification tests, if applicable.

Launch
