As we bring Gemini features to Home, high-quality partner integrations are even more critical to ensure our shared users can take advantage of this new Gemini-powered home.

Google Home Vitals provides a new partner-facing dashboard in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) console that provides detailed insights into the quality of your Cloud-to-Cloud integration with Google Home. You'll find:

  • Google to Partner Metrics - Measures the health of calls from Google's ecosystem to yours.
  • System Health - Partner to Google Metrics - Measures the health of calls from your ecosystem to Google's.
  • Device Health - State Accuracy - Measures the accuracy of states stored in Google systems, which are used to serve user queries.

We provide a suite of analytics tools to help monitor the quality of your Cloud-to-Cloud integrations. You have access to self-service logs and metrics to identify and debug integration quality issues.

These tools are available through the SmartHome Google Cloud Project integration and provide you with:

  • Quality monitoring: A suite of dashboards and alerts that help proactively maintain a high-quality integration with the Google Home ecosystem.
  • Logging: Access logs related to your integration to help you pinpoint issues.
  • Monitoring: Utilize metrics that summarize your integration's performance for Google Cloud projects.

By integrating the Google Home APIs, Hisense enabled users to connect millions of Matter and "Works with Google Home" devices directly within their ConnectLife app. They completed the integration 72% faster than building a proprietary Matter fabric, while also enabling powerful new cross-brand automations.
