Changes to the Works With Google Home (WWGH) certification process for Matter devices are coming! To streamline testing and improve interoperability for the entire ecosystem, we are transitioning to the Connectivity Standards Alliance Interop Test Lab (Alliance ITL) for Matter certification in the Google ecosystem. Currently the following ecosystem device types are supported: Blinds, Fan, Light, Lock, Outlet, Sensor, and Thermostat.

Check out the developer documentation for the latest info on this transition.

We've launched technical documentation focused on the specific logic used to calculate your integration quality metrics, ensuring your internal monitoring aligns with Google's evaluation standards.

You'll also find troubleshooting steps to resolve technical drivers and ensure you maintain a high quality integration for your users in the Google Home app.
